Today is the day you can pre-order The Whigs’ 3rd album “In the Dark” before it officially hits stores March 16th. The album was recorded last summer in Athens, GA with Athens native Ben Allen (Animal Collective / Gnarls Barkley) and in Nashville, TN with Angelo Petraglia (Kings Of Leon) and Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant). After a few week break for holidays, etc., we got to play our first shows of the year these past few days in Oxford, Mississippi and Huntsville, AL. Jason Isbell made the drive from Muscle Shows and joined us for Right Hand On My Heart, Try (off Jason’s album “Sirens in the Ditch”), and Need You Need You. ROCK!

March 16th is now the official release date for our new album, IN THE DARK! We’re also thrilled to announce we’ll be returning to the The Late Show with David Letterman on April 1st!
